Narr – the narrativist literary magazine has been publishing voices that have not yet been heard elsewhere since 2011. It thus offers readers an insight into the literature of the future and young writers a platform for their first steps in the literary world. The magazine is published three times a year and carefully designed special projects are carried out on an irregular basis. Around 200 authors have published in Narr, making it one of the most important Swiss literary magazines.

Has advertising worked for you too? Posters, Instagram ads or word of mouth, advertising is our faithful - unwanted - companion. Even if it sometimes gets on our nerves, certain advertising slogans are firmly anchored in pop culture and vintage advertising posters are coveted wall decorations. Advertising fascinates us with its aesthetics and annoys us with its pedantry. In short: advertising moves us - sometimes even to make a purchase. For Narr #41 - Advertising, the authors have taken a critical or humorous look at our constant companion.

With texts by Stefanie Adamitz, Eric Ehrhardt, Sebastian Galyga, Oliver Gehrmann, Florian Kranz, Chris Lauer, Jonathan Löffelbein, Nasima Sophia Razizadeh, Helmut Michael Schmid, Gabriel Seeberger, Achim Stegmüller and paula van well.

Illustrations by Leonie Jucker and guest contribution ‘This is not a commercial’ by Veli & Amos.
