“Teens (in their rooms)” is the first book by photographer Anna Breit. The series of images portrays young people in their rooms and uses the aesthetic means of photo reportage.
The book opens with the quote “The Kids Are United,” a comment on the counterculture that also refers to the photographer’s youth. In her mostly analogue photographic work, Anna Breit deals with the representation of people from their close, personal environment. For this series, however, she got to know her protagonists on the street and via social media.
