No previous knowledge is required to take part in the course. All working materials will be provided.

The Japanese binding impresses with its visible, decorative stitching – and is not only beautiful to look at but also very easy to implement. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own personal photo book in A4 format. In addition to a brief historical insight, you will learn the most important basic terms, tools and techniques.

Under the name “Workshops von Frey“, graphic designer Anna Frey offers workshops and lovingly designed step-by-step instructions on all aspects of bookbinding. With her “Workshops von Frey”, the trained graphic designer rethinks classic bindings – and builds a bridge between tradition and modernity with the combination of high-quality materials and characteristic, minimalist design.

Cancellation conditions: Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 20 days before the start of the course. Cancellations made later, up to 14 days before the start of the event, will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the participation fee. Cancellations within 14 days before the start of the course, as well as non-registration or non-attendance, will be charged the full participation fee. If fewer places have been paid for up to 1 day before the start of the course, the event will be canceled and the full course fee will be refunded.
