Since 2021, FOTOHOF>CALLING has offered artists a platform to present themselves and their work to an audience of professionals and visitors. The format is intended to promote dialogue about contemporary photography and create space for networking. This year’s Open Call will also be accompanied by a publication for the first time. From over 200 national and international submissions, FOTOHOF has selected 26 projects to be presented in this magazine.
The selected projects touch on virulent themes of our time. Works that utilise traditional methods are combined with experimental approaches that question, expand and reinterpret the medium.
