Nearest Truth Editions – Artists Talks & Photo Book Signings

Softcover and Nearest Truth Editions present an evening of photo book signings and talks with Cornelia Pierce and Xiaofu Wang, where we will discuss their new books, Nachtmeer and The Tower, respectively. Nearest Truth will also launch several new titles from Adam Tichener, Tonje Li, Yasmin Masri, Brad Feuerhelm, Jesse Jackson, Gui Marcondes, Dan Skjæveland, and David Myers.
Nearest Truth – founded by Brad Feuerhelm – offers a podcast devoted to photography, photo book workshops and publishes photo books.
Nearest Truth Editions is a new publishing imprint that offers an alternative to the existing publishing houses. This is a new model which functions on transparency and cooperation, helping artists to make their photo books and profit from the bookselling process. It is collaborative and looks to demystify the reality of publishing photo books in the contemporary market. It is born from a dissatisfaction with artists paying publishers to make their books only to receive none of the profits. It is also born from working with artists through our Year-Long Photo book program.
